12 Nov 2025 BILD Calgary Region Awards Are Around the Corner – Time to Submit Your Entry
If you’re a builder, renovator, or industry partner in Calgary, the 2025 BILD CR Awards are your chance to unlock meaningful recognition and powerful marketing leverage. Entries are now open and the submission deadline is Monday, January 12, 2026 at 11:49 PM (MST).

Why Enter the BILD Awards?
- Recognition matters. Being a finalist or winner can significantly boost your brand credibility in the Calgary Region. “Winning or becoming a finalist … can serve as a powerful marketing tool for your organization.”
- Brand exposure. Your submission, if selected, may get public-facing exposure via BILDCR’s channels and media.
- Internal pride & external proof. A submission shows you’re pushing for quality, craftsmanship and innovation, and the visuals you prepare serve your listing, website or ad-campaign long past the gala.
What’s New for 2025
The award criteria have been refreshed this year. Some highlights:
- Updated price bands across categories to reflect current market conditions.
- Virtual staging is now permitted in certain categories (soft goods only).
- Brand-blind competition in many categories: images, plans and materials must exclude identifiable company logos for fairness.
Quick Entry Overview
- Eligibility: Must be a member of BILD Calgary Region (BILDCR) in good standing. Projects must have been completed between Jan 1, 2025 and Dec 31, 2025.
- Fee: $285 (plus GST) per entry. Partner Awards have a higher fee ($450 + GST) for certain categories.
- Multiple categories: You may increase your odds by entering multiple categories. “More entries = better odds.”
- Digital submission: Via Award Force platform. No physical photo or map submissions required this year.

Submission-Ready Checklist
- Ensure your project meets the completion window (Jan 1 – Dec 31, 2025) and hasn’t been entered previously.
- Prepare high-resolution images (no logos, watermarks or frames) for judges’ review.
- If using virtual staging: clearly indicate it and include “before” images.
- Review the entry criteria and guidelines before submission, especially category-specific requirements.
- Use strong narratives that speak to your target market, innovation, craftsmanship and impact (since judging focuses on originality, objectives and overall effect).
